Susan started her foodservice career at Wannamaker’s Department Store in Philadelphia, PA at the ice cream counter while still in high school. After high school, she earned her culinary degree at the Academy of Culinary Arts in Mays Landing, NJ.
Upon graduation, she worked at the Smithville Inn as a candy maker. She then moved to front of the house operations in several positions including wine steward, bartender and cocktail server at Resorts International Casino Hotel in Atlantic City, NJ. From there, she moved into F&B Management for the casino Oyster Bar and Coffee Shop.
Susan began her foodservice design career in 1994 when she joined JEM Associates Design Consultants in Atlantic City, NJ. As part of the JEM team, she helped design the kitchens and bars for Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, CT.
In 1998, Susan relocated to JEM Associates West in Las Vegas, NV where she helped design the kitchens and bars for all the restaurants at the Paris Casino Hotel, Harrah’s Carnival Court Bar along with designs for other casino clients.
Susan joined Lloyd's Refrigeration Inc. as lead designer in July of 2002. At Lloyd’s, she worked on a number of designs including the new Palms Place casino tower, Palms Buffet, the Ice Lounge, Mandalay Bay night club “LIGHT”, the Blind Pig, Carlos and Charlie’s and Senor Frogs among others.
After leaving Lloyds in 2009, Susan started Tasty Cravings where she created her own custom candies and confections. Her products were featured in several prominent locations including the gift shops at the Mirage and the Bellagio
In 2010, Susan opened Las Vegas Foodservice Design Center (currently, SF Foodservice Designs) and business quickly took off. With SF, she has created custom designs for a variety of clients including Caesar’s Entertainment, PT’s, Sierra Gold, Sammy’s Woodfired Pizza, several local Las Vegas gentlemen’s clubs and numerous other projects.

Susan Fitzpatrick, Owner and Lead Designer for SF Foodservice Designs, has spent her entire career in the Food Service industry. She has extensive experience in both “front and back” of house operations.
